Principal's Message

Welcome to Rydalmere Public School. We pride ourselves on the well-established, respectful and safe learning environment that exists here for all students.

Our school is situated on expansive grounds where a variety of indoor and outdoor learning areas are used each day to immerse our students in their learning.

We are a small school of 180 students in Preschool to Year 6, with a huge community spirit. We offer high-quality teaching and learning programs in all Key Learning Areas, where the opportunities for our students, at school and beyond, are wide and varied.

We have an on site Preschool staffed by experienced and dedicated Early childhood educators. What a wonderful opportunity for your child to attend our Preschool, to participate in our whole school events and transition into Kindergarten effectively.

We are well-resourced with dedicated learning spaces, in addition to our classrooms, including a computer lab, hall, library, yarning circle and a vegetable garden.

We recognise that no student is the same, therefore, our teaching and learning programs are differentiated to cater for all students' individuality. Our professional and dedicated staff encourage all students to achieve their personal best in all that they do.

Parents of our school talk about the positive and collaborative working relationships that exist between our school and the families that attend. The school is supported by an active and dedicated P&C that meets each month. Our P&C are at the core of fundraising, school promotion and parental input into schooling at Rydalmere Public School. We encourage all parents and local community members to be a part of this association, and to come along and have a voice.

We have The Rydalmere Public School Community Hub onsite which also enhances the collaborative partnership with families as it offers a range of activities such as play group, English, fitness and learn to swim classes for adults in our community.

Our website will provide you with information about our school. Please contact the school for further information, or if you would like to make a time for a school tour.
